MP Kartracing and Proforto enter into multi-year teamwear/workwear partnership
MP Motorsport and Proforto enter into multi-year teamwear/workwear partnership
MP Motorsport has entered into a multi-year partnership with Proforto, a leading Dutch supplier of workwear. The Nijmegen-based company will be MP’s Official Teamwear/Workwear Partner for the next three years. Not only will the Proforto logo be visible on the Dutch team’s single-seaters, but from this season onwards, all MP Motorsport and MP Kartracing team members will be kitted out in official clothing designed and manufactured by Proforto.
The partnership between MP Motorsport and Proforto came about at lightning speed this winter, in keeping with the pace MP is accustomed to in motorsport, as in just four weeks, Proforto managed to develop and produce a completely new clothing line for the team. The result matches with the previous partnerships Proforto has established in sport, including in football and cyclo-cross, and is further testimony to why the company has grown to become the market leader in the Netherlands and Belgium within 12 years. Their market leadership now forms the foundation for future growth.
“We were hugely attracted by the global aspect of motorsport, as it fits well with our international ambition,” says Proforto’s CEO and co-founder Rik Burgersdijk. “By the end of this year, we will be active in five or six additional countries, and our eyes are already looking beyond Europe. MP’s racing calendar fits in perfectly with this – we will benefit greatly from the international network effect, that includes working with MP’s other partners. Furthermore, our slogan ‘For heroes’ aligns well with MP Motorsport’s talent development, as it’s wonderful to see how young drivers at MP develop into new heroes. We have entered into a long-term partnership with MP, so the team kit for the single-seater teams and MP’s karting team is just the first step – although it is wonderful that our product is visible straight away in the partnership.”
“We are absolutely delighted to have Proforto as our Official Teamwear/Workwear Partner,” said Maarten van Wesenbeeck, marketing manager at MP Motorsport. “Proforto is a truly Dutch company, just like MP Motorsport, but with an international reach. In terms of tangibility and visibility, you couldn’t imagine a better partnership – all our team members will feel comfortable in Proforto’s workwear, at least until 2028, from our team principal on the podium to the mechanic on the garage floor. We are all very impressed with the colourful look that Proforto will give us thanks to their new clothing designs.”
The new team kit, along with the Proforto logo on all of MP’s cars and trailers, will be the most eye-catching elements of the partnership, as they will give the workwear supplier enhanced visibility in FIA Formula 2, FIA Formula 3, FIA FREC, Eurocup-3, the F1 Academy and the Spanish Formula 4 Championship. The two will also collaborate on a content calendar for their respective (social) media channels. Furthermore, both parties plan to organise joint events that contribute to their relationship management and team building. These include visits to race weekends and the MP workshop in Westmaas, corporate karting events and the MP Two-Seater Experience. Proforto will also play a role in the business network that MP is building for all its partners.
Proforto is a fast-growing and ambitious online specialist in workwear, safety footwear and personal protective equipment. The aim of the Dutch-based company is to take the pressure off ‘real heroes’, as Proforto views its customers’ employees. Proforto stands out thanks to the largest online range, fast delivery and additional services such as printing and embroidery. Proforto has its own logistics centre and print shop for this purpose.
MP Motorsport extends multi-year partnership with Prop.com as its main sponsor
Leading international single-seater team MP Motorsport and global real estate investment and asset manager Prop.com have signed an agreement to extend their partnership into a second year. This move makes the Abu Dhabi-headquartered firm the primary sponsor of the Dutch racing team.
Prop.com first came on board for the 2025 season, jointly supporting MP Motorsport and their 2025 driver Richard Verschoor as they raced in the FIA Formula 2 Championship. This mutually beneficial relationship was instrumental to Prop.com’s decision to expand their involvement into the season ahead, committing to being MP Motorsport’s primary sponsor in 2026, with plans to further intensify their cooperation in the future.
“Our partnership with MP has been our first real involvement in motorsport, having already grown our brand presence through other sports such as golf and show jumping,” said Robin Ubaghs, Prop.com’s Dutch-born CEO, an avid karter himself, with plans to upgrade to GT3 racing. “Supporting a Dutch team is obviously close to my heart, but I’m struck by the synergies and similarities between motorsport and our tech-driven real estate investment philosophy. Both rely on precision and attention to detail in approach and decision-making, based on a data-first strategy, for example by leveraging AI and blockchain. Also, the Grand Prix calendar will allow us to engage with existing and new partners by hosting small events with MP Motorsport, for example at Monaco, the Red Bull Ring, Silverstone and Spa.”
“I’m extremely pleased to welcome Prop.com as our primary sponsor going into 2026”, said Henk de Jong, MP Motorsport’s owner. “It was great to see Robin’s enthusiasm grow during the 2025 season, as Richard Verschoor challenged for the FIA F2 title. Soon we were ready for the next step by taking our partnership to a higher level that will be to the benefit of both. Robin and I also share a vision of bringing people together, and I’m pleased that Prop.com will take up a prominent role in the partner community that we are building with MP and that continues to grow.”
In 2026, Prop.com’s trademark logo will appear on the team’s FIA Formula 2, FIA Formula 3, FIA FREC, Eurocup-3 and Spanish F4 cars as well as its trucks, pitwall and teamwear, but the partnership will extend well beyond visibility and mutual promotion on both partners’ respective (social) media channels. Shared activities will include guest visits to race events and the MP Two-Seater Experience, three exclusive events at MP’s Westmaas workshop as well as customer relationship-enhancing business events at the legendary karting tracks of Strijen and Genk, all with full hospitality included. Prop.com will also be a leading name in MP’s annual partner community event.
MP Kartracing Team Expands into Mini, X30 and Shifter Categories
MP Kartracing Team continues to expand its karting activities with the addition of several new categories to its programme. The team will now also compete in Mini, X30 Junior, X30 Senior and Shifter classes, broadening its presence across international karting. With these additions, the team further strengthens its karting structure and creates opportunities for drivers to compete at multiple levels of the sport.
Expanding into Key Karting Categories
Each of the newly added categories represents an important step within the karting ladder. The Mini category is designed for younger drivers taking their first steps in competitive karting. From there, drivers can progress to X30 Junior, where young racers compete with 125cc engines and gain experience at a higher level of competition.
The X30 Senior category represents the senior level of single-speed karting and is one of the most competitive classes in the sport. Drivers compete with powerful 125cc engines and race against large international fields.
The Shifter classes, which feature gearbox karts, represent the fastest categories in karting. These karts use multiple gears and require both technical precision and physical strength from the drivers.
Competing Across International Events
Drivers from MP Kartracing Team compete in a range of karting championships and events throughout the season. These include international races as well as competitions such as the Karting Champions League, where drivers compete against strong fields from across Europe.
Racing in these additional categories allows the team to remain active across multiple karting events while continuing to support drivers as they progress through the sport.
Strengthening the Karting Programme
By entering Mini, X30 Junior, X30 Senior and Shifter categories, MP Kartracing Team continues to develop its karting programme across multiple levels of the sport.
Competing in these classes allows the team to support drivers at different stages of their karting careers while continuing to gain experience across international karting events. With the expanded programme, MP Kartracing Team looks forward to building its presence in these categories and continuing its activities within the international karting scene.
Encouraging Start to the WSK Season for MP Kartracing Team
The start of the 2026 international karting season saw MP Kartracing Team compete in several early rounds of the WSK championships in Italy. Racing in the highly competitive OK and OKJ categories, the opening events of the season provided valuable experience and promising performances as the team continues to build momentum. Across the first races of the year, the focus has been on development, learning more about the kart package and improving execution race by race.
Season Kick-Off at La Conca
The season began with the opening round of the WSK Super Master Series at La Conca, where MP Kartracing Team showed encouraging pace throughout the weekend despite some challenging timed qualifying sessions.
In the OK category, Henry Domain led the charge for the team. He showed strong speed during the heats, finishing P3, P5 and another P5 on track before a post-race penalty dropped one of those results to P11. A later DNF affected his overall heats ranking and prevented him from starting near the front of the Pre-Final.
Henry responded well on Sunday, climbing six places to finish P4 in the Pre-Final before gaining eight more positions in the Final to finish P10, underlining the potential shown during the opening weekend of the season.
Across the rest of the squad, several drivers showed determination and continued to fight through the field in highly competitive conditions.
Challenging Conditions in Viterbo
The team returned to Italy for the next WSK events at Leopard Circuit Viterbo, where drivers competed in difficult weather conditions during the WSK Euro Series round. The weekend saw heavy rain affect several sessions, with the OKJ Pre-Final even being stopped due to torrential rainfall. Despite the conditions, MP drivers continued to show competitive pace.
In the OK category, Nicola Stanley finished just outside the podium, while Lenni Mäkinen and Christian Coby both fought their way forward through the field in the OKJ category. The following WSK Super Master Series round at Viterbo focused largely on development, with the team continuing to refine the setup and build experience for the races ahead.
Progress in Lonato
Round four of the WSK Super Master Series took place at South Garda Karting in Lonato, one of the most iconic circuits in international karting. The event once again attracted a very large international field, with around 400 drivers competing across the different categories.
MP Kartracing Team showed clear progress throughout the weekend. Four OK drivers qualified for the Final, with Henry Domain battling at the front during the weekend and securing a heat victory on Saturday. Other drivers also demonstrated strong pace, including an impressive recovery drive from Peter, who moved from P22 to P10 in the Pre-Final, highlighting the speed within the team.
Looking Ahead
The opening WSK events of the season have highlighted both the challenges and the potential within MP Kartracing Team. While there are still areas to improve in terms of execution, progress has been visible from race to race. With drivers and engineers continuing to learn more about the karts and refine the setup, the team looks ahead to the upcoming rounds of the season with confidence and determination.
MP Drivers Kick Off ITQ Performance Programme with Training Camp in the Netherlands
MP Motorsport launched the ITQ Performance Programme with an intensive training camp in the Netherlands, combining mental coaching, physical testing and team-building for drivers across multiple racing categories.
At the end of February, MP Motorsport officially launched the ITQ Performance Programme, a new training programme designed to support the physical and mental development of drivers across karting, Formula 4, F1 Academy and Eurocup-3. For the first training camp, a total of 12 drivers from the MP Motorsport family came together for an intensive week.
Mental Performance Sessions in Westmaas and Delden
The programme began with an introduction at MP Motorsport’s workshop in Westmaas, where the drivers were introduced to the goals of the ITQ Performance Programme. It kicked off with two sessions delivered by RUOTA SupPORT, an organisation specialised in coaching and development programmes for teams and individuals in sport and business.
During the first session, the drivers worked on understanding themselves better and identifying their behavioural preferences by taking a personality analysis. Before travelling to Enschede for the next part of the programme, the drivers received meals from Topsport Amsterdam, an organisation that supports elite athletes and talent with facilities and coaching. The meals provided the drivers with the right nutritional values ahead of the next part of the programme.
The drivers then travelled to Aparthotel Delden, a hotel, located in the east of the Netherlands, fully equipped to accommodate elite sports teams. Here, the team stayed for the entirety of the training camp.
Physical Testing and Training at Pro-F
After the session at Aparthotel Delden, the drivers travelled to MP Motorsport’s partner Pro-F in Enschede. A performance centre specialised in physical testing and training using advanced measurement technology.
At Pro-F the drivers completed a full-day programme of physical testing. Under the supervision of sports professionals, each driver worked through parts of their own individual fitness programme, completing several tests. One of the tests included an endurance bike test with sensors attached to the body, conducted by OCON Sport, allowing specialists to monitor physical indicators such as oxygen levels during the effort.
Team-Building Activities
On the final day of the programme, the drivers took part in several activities. The group went mountain biking, partly in snowy conditions, and also participated in a freerun workshop. A fun way to conclude an intense few days together.
A New Step in the ITQ Performance Partnership
The ITQ Performance Programme is part of the multi-year partnership between MP Motorsport and international cloud service provider ITQ, which acts as the title sponsor of the programme. The programme is designed for MP drivers competing in karting, Formula 4, F1 Academy and Eurocup-3 and aims to strengthen both the physical strength and mental resilience of drivers in these championships.
Following the training camp, the programme will continue throughout the season with online coaching, workshops and progress checks, while a second training camp is planned later in the year.

The Karting Champions League Winter Series finished in Mariembourg, where MP Kartracing Team drivers secured three championship titles in the KZ2, X30 Junior and Mini categories. The championship was held over two rounds at Karting Genk, the “Home of Champions”, and Karting des Fagnes in Mariembourg, with more than 115 drivers competing across several classes. The Winter Series gave drivers a good opportunity to prepare for the upcoming karting season and gain race experience ahead of championships such as the NK IAME end of March at Mariembourg and the IAME Benelux and Euro Series.
A Competitive Winter Championship
Organised by the MP Group, the Karting Champions League continues to grow, attracting drivers from different countries. The championship had six categories: Mini, X30 Junior, X30 Senior, KZ2, KZ2 Master and Super Shifter.

In KZ2, the team was represented by Tommie van der Struijs, Milan van Winden and Quinten van Leeuwen. Ludwig Granquist and Neal van de Ende competed in X30 Junior, while Henry Domain and Aron Weeda represented the team in X30 Senior. In the Mini category, Bruce Chirino and Harry Chapman were on track for MP Kartracing Team.
Championship Success for MP Drivers

In KZ2, Tommie van der Struijs secured the Karting Champions League championship, delivering the performance needed during the final round to claim the title. In X30 Junior, Ludwig Granquist was crowned 2026 Karting Champions League champion. The 13-year-old driver from Sweden started the series strongly by winning the opening round in Genk, collecting enough points across the two rounds to secure the overall title. The championship victory also earned Ludwig a Golden Ticket for the IAME Warrior Final, one of the biggest international events for IAME drivers. In the Mini category, Bruce Chirino also claimed the Karting Champions League championship after consistent performances across the series.
Bruce Chirino Secures Mini Title
For Bruce Chirino, the championship added another title to his karting career. Despite finishing third in the final race in Mariembourg, his results across the series, including second place in the opening round in Genk, were enough to secure the overall championship. With the title, Bruce also earned a Golden Ticket for the IAME Warrior Final (IWF) along with a complete kart package including kart, engine and tyres.
A Strong End to the Winter Series
With three championship titles secured, the Karting Champions League Winter Series proved to be a strong start to the season for MP Kartracing Team. The results across the two rounds in Genk and Mariembourg underline the strength of the team’s driver programme as preparations now shift toward the upcoming international karting competitions.
MP Kartracing Shines with Gorski’s P4 at the FIA World Karting Championship in Kristianstad
MP Kartracing team takes best result of the Season by just missing out on the podium at the FIA Karting World Championships.
Last weekend the 2025 Mondokart.com FIA Karting World Championship took place at the Åsum Ring in Kristianstad, Sweden (11–14 September). With over 200 of the world’s best young drivers across OK and OK-Junior, the event was a true test of pace, consistency, and resilience. MP Kartracing achieved it’s best result of the season, showing they can peek when it counts.
Gorski fly’s to P4 in OK-Junior
The highlight of the weekend came in the OK-Junior class, where Leonardo Gorski fought through the heats and climbed the order to finish an impressive P4 in the World Final. He even won a heat, which was a first for the team this season.
Against a field of more than 100 international competitors, Gorski’s performance stood out not only for his speed but also for his composure under pressure. Coming just short of a podium, in the final. He started P5, after which he dropped a few places at the start. However he climbed the ladder breaking away from the following group to places two, three and four. Noah Baglin was able to slip away in the chaotic opening phase and was unreachable from that point. Onces arriving in the podium battle the fight was on with pole sitter Dean Hoogendorn and Valerio Viapiana. Gorski just came short in the end after a great battle, but still came cheering across the finish line after 21 laps. Just as the team. Great job to them for this amazing result at the highest karting stage of the world.
OK Class: Competitive but Challenging
In the OK category, MP Kartracing fielded drivers Jason Bralić, Jorn Helder, Carl Luthardt, and Eemeli Koivisto. Qualifying sessions showed flashes of competitiveness — with Bralić and Luthardt both posting times in the 49.6 second range, but the depth of the field meant that even small margins made progression difficult.
Despite strong efforts in the heats, none of the OK drivers managed to advance to the decisive stages. The team reflected afterwards that the results didn’t fully reflect their pace or effort throughout the weekend.
Looking Ahead
While the OK results left the team hungry for more, Leonardo Gorski’s near-podium in OK-Junior proved that MP Kartracing can challenge the best in the world. The team leaves Sweden motivated, determined, and with renewed confidence heading into the next international events and big plans for the upcoming season.

Strong Weekend for MP Kartracing at FIA European Championship Finale in Rødby
Getting stronger every weekend. Another great weekend of racing.
We’ve wrapped up the final round in Rødby, Denmark, and it’s been another weekend that showcased the strength of the MP package. We are without a doubt getting better every week. With performance of all the drivers, mechanics, team members, engines and material improving.
Timed qualifying was a strong showing across both categories as the team pushed hard in tough conditions 💪 OKJ Highlights included Leo Gorski continued his strong form getting P3 in his TQ group, followed by P3 and P6 finishes in the heats. FIA debutant Ludwig Grandquist impressed with P9 in his first heat, gaining 8 places with serious pace. A DNF in heat 2 was unfortunate, but the speed is there. Runitz made the most of his single heat of the day, charging up 10 spots to finish P8. Great drive! In the OK class it was Koivisto who showed front-running pace with a solid P5, could’ve easily challenged for the win. Helder put in one of the drives of the day, gaining 17 positions to finish P11 in a packed field.
Saturday continued with the heats🔥
We saw strong pace throughout:
• Koivisto (OK) consistently finished in the Top 3
• Gorski (OKJ) delivered multiple Top 8 performances
• Grandquist & Runitz (OKJ) fought hard, regularly battling within the Top 10
Sunday it was times for Finales, challenging wet and damp conditions during the Super Heats and Finals made luck a key factor, and unfortunately, it didn’t swing our way. Koivisto – DNF in OK. OKJ Grandquist – P28 and Gorski – P32. The rest of our drivers narrowly missed out on the main finals, but not for lack of effort.
Shoutout to the whole squad, great commitment all around. Your time will come.
Heads high, we regroup and go again 👊
