As the dust settles on a thrilling weekend of Champions of the Future (COTF) racing in Kristianstad, MP Kart Racing Team can reflect on a high-octane performance that both underlined their progress and readied them for the upcoming FIA World Karting Championships, set to take place on the same circuit from September 11 to 14, 2025

A Dress Rehearsal with Purpose

Last weekend’s COTF Round 5 served as the four-day warm-up for the World Championship, mirroring its structure and enabling teams to dial in setups, strategies, and race preparations. From free practice and qualifying heats to Super Heats and Finals, the event offered every competitive scenario teams will face in just days.

MP Kart Racing: Rising Through the Ranks

While the finals and end results may suggest a bad weekend, the team showed incredible pace in timed qualifying and the heats. With a P2 for Leonardo Gorski (OKJ) and multiple top 8 finishes for Koivisto in OK. These places and speed give us the confidence and motivation to fight for what is possible next week. We will return even faster and get the results on the end board.

Expect drivers, engineers, and crew to channel every bit of insight gleaned last weekend, setting the stage for an all-out, polished performance when the world’s top karters descend on Kristianstad.
